I am so confused!!! I just got two emails about my book. One said that the male characters were too unsympathetic toward the female and that this would make it hard for readers to bond with the book. What the hell? Aren't most males unsympathetic? Unfortunately for me, the two males she was referring to weren't even the main love interest in the book! She had only requested the first three chapters! So that really sucks for me. The second email said that I needed to find a strong voice and an original story! I'm sorry, but I think my story is extremely original. I sure as hell haven't read anything like it.
If I sound a little angry and upset, well I'm sorry but I am! LOL... I guess shit happens! It's just that I really had my hopes up on one of these emails... BUt, that's life!
